After two years as a graduate associate athletic trainer at Eastern Washington, Barnett was hired on as a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2011. She handles all athletic training services for the Eagle volleyball team.

She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Kansas in 2009. She is working toward a master’s degree in exercise physiology while serving while working for the Eagles.

Prior to coming to EWU, Barnett served as an athletic training student at Kansas, working primarily with the KU football team as well as gaining experience with all sports at nearby Baker University, located just 16 miles to the south.

Barnett resides in Cheney and enjoys mountain biking, snow boarding, reading as well as spending time with family and friends.
