
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Graduate Associate Athletic Trainer for Women's Soccer
- Provide coverage (including daily practices and games) for assigned sports
- Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the athletic training room
- Assist the staff in various administrative responsibilities
- Attend all assigned staff and department meetings
- Serve as a clinical instructor supervisor in a CAATE accredited athletic training education program
Qualifications:
- NATABOC certification upon commencement of position
- American Red Cross Certification for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent
- Meet qualifications for admittance into Graduate School
- Athletic training experience with a variety of sports at the collegiate level
- Good communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work professionally with other staff and students
Compensation:
- $7,800 stipend for 10 months commencing in August and ending in June
- Full tuition waiver
- Major Medical Health Insurance (No Dental or Vision)
- Additional compensation ($12.00 per hr.) provided before school starts
- Opportunity to work summer sports camps
- Professional development funds provided to cover NATA membership dues, Washington State Licensure, as well as attending the NATA National Symposium
