Jeff Carroll was named the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in March 0f 2008. Carroll overseas all operations and primarily works with football, women's volleyball, women's golf and men's & women's track and field (cross country, distance and throwers). Carroll comes to Eastern Washington with nearly three years of experience as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Seattle Seahawks (2005-2008). With the Seahawks the team won three divisional championships, one NFC Championship and one Super Bowl (XL) appearance. He also has spent time working for Velocity Sports Performance as a sports performance coach and as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Washington. He worked with the Husky football, volleyball and men's soccer and basketball teams. Additionally, Carroll has served as the head junior varsity lacrosse coach at Mercer Island High School since the 2005 season. Carroll played lacrosse at Pacific Lutheran University earning all conference honors and helped earn the team a top 20 national ranking during his senior season. He earned his bachelor's of science degree in health and fitness management from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002. Carroll is a NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) certified strength and conditioning specialist and USAW certified. Carroll and the former Paige Jamieson married in July 0f 2007.
