Public Invited to Watch Pro Day-Style Testing on Friday

“Night of Champions” will feature members of EWU’s football team, as well as an autograph session featuring former Eagles

Current Eastern Washington University football players will compete in three Pro Day-style tests this Friday (March 8) at the “Night of Champions” at the EWU Strength and Conditioning Center.

The event begins at 6 p.m., and costs $25. Fans will have a chance to watch Eagle players participate in the vertical jump, power clean and bench press. The Strength and Conditioning Center is located near the lower main entrance (East) of the EWU Sports and Recreation Center in Cheney, Wash.

In addition, an autograph signing session will take place afterward, and will include former Eagles who will test in front of professional football scouts on EWU’s Pro Day on March 6. Those expected to be on hand include wide receivers Brandon Kaufman, Greg Herd and Nicholas Edwards, linebacker Zach Johnson, offensive lineman Will Post, defensive end Jerry Ceja and quarterback Kyle Padron.
