Student-Athletes Help New EWU Students Move In
Student-athletes from Eastern Washington's football, men's basketball and women's basketball programs helped new EWU students move into the on-campus residence halls last week in advance of the new school year starting.
Joining the EWU Movers and Shakers, the official move-in group, members of the football squad assisted new students and their families at Dressler, Pearce and Streeter Halls in the morning. The Eagles' men's and women's basketball team helped get people moved in during the afternoon, getting new students situated at New Hall and Dressler, Brewster and Streeter Halls.
"It was great seeing our student-athletes out helping new EWU students move into their residence halls," Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Joel Vickery said. "It's a great opportunity for us to serve the student population and give back to them after the tremendous support they show our teams and student-athletes during events."
