SIGNING DAY '17 - Big Sky Champs Sign 10 Players for 2017

The Eagles hit big on the first day of the National Signing Period, as Coach Bodnar adds 10 talented players to an already deep roster.

CHENEY, Wash. -- The defending Big Sky Conference soccer champions hit big on the first day of the signing period, as head coach Chad Bodnar announced 10 new additions to the Eastern Washington University soccer team on Wednesday.

The Eagles are coming off their best season ever on the pitch in 2016, as Eastern claimed its first-ever Big Sky Soccer Tournament crown and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

This 10-member class brings in more quality depth to an already talented Eastern Washington roster. The Eagles return nine of their 11 starters from a season ago, which include two-time Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year Chloe Williams.

The members of the 2017 signing class are as follows…

Brittany Delridge | F | 5-8 | Missoula, Mont. (Sentinel HS)
Delridge grew up right in the back yard of the University of Montana, but the Missoula, Montana native ended up signing with Eastern Washington after being a multi-sport standout at Sentinel High School.

The forward had an impressive prep career for Sentinel, as she was named both the 2015 Gatorade Player of the Year and the NHSA Player of the Year in Montana. Delridge collected 36 points that season with 13 goals and 10 assists, while leading Sentinel High School to the Class AA State Championship game. She was also a two-time Montana Class AA All-State first team selection, and was named the Most Valuable Player in the Western Montana twice, sharing co-honors in 2014 before winning it outright in 2015.

Delridge was also a first-team all-state shortstop for Sentinel and was a two-time letter winner in basketball. She was named to eight Montana academic all-state teams during her prep career. She played club ball for Nova ECNL and won four Montana state titles with her club team.

Bodnar Bites: Britt is a hardworking and athletic player who is very versatile. She fits right in with what our program is all about and we look forward to having her around for the next four years.
