2017-2018 Track and Field: Outdoor: Set a personal best in the hammer throw with a throw of 161-5 placing seventh at the Sam Adams Classic. He placed ninth in both the hammer and the discus at the War XI. Set a personal best in the discus with throw of 153-0 placing 17th at the Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Indoor: Placed third at the Candy Cane in the weight throw. At the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships he set a personal best in the weight throw with a throw of 51-3 1/2 placing 20th.
2016-17 Track and Field: Outdoor: Redshirt. Indoor: Earned 15th in the weight throw at the Big Sky Championships with a mark of 49-11, his best performance of the season. He also took third in the Candy Cane Invitational and the Idaho Duals.
2015-16 Track and Field: Outdoor: Nine top-ten finishes in the hammer and discus throws. Finished seventh in the hammer throw at the Al Manuel with a personal best mark of 138-8. Set a personal best in the discus at the Whitworth Twilight with a mark of 129-2. At the Pelluer Invitational, finishes a season-best fourth in both the discus and hammer. Indoor: Redshirted.
High School: Tyler competed in the shot put and discus at the 4A State Track and Field Championships his senior year, placing sixth overall with a distance of 45-6 1/2 in the shot put and fouling out in the discus. He recorded his personal best in the discus that same year at the 4A Regional Track Meet where he placed first with a throw of 160-5. He also competed in the discus at the 4A State Track and Field Championships his junior year, finishing 15th overall.
Personal: Intends to major in political science and communications ... Wants to be president or a politician one day.
