54 Selected to Spring All-Academic Team
A total of 54 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for spring quarter 2010. Of the total, 20 were from the men's track and field team, 18 came from the women's squad, seven from men's tennis, five from women's golf and four from women's tennis.

Track and field standout Whitney Leavitt from Benton City, Wash., is the women’s recipient, and tennis player Flavio Malagutti from Rio Claro, Brazil, won the honor for the men.

Junior Kersee Lind finished fourth in the decathlon as the Eastern Washington University track and field team concluded the combined portion of the 2010 Big Sky Conference / Weber State Credit Union Outdoor Championships in Ogden, Utah, Wednesday and Thursday (May 12-13). The regular portion of the meet takes place Friday and Saturday (May 14-15).
