Eagles Travel to Cougar Indoor
For the second weekend in a row, Eastern will compete at the WSU indoor track and field facility
The Eastern Washington University track and field teams will compete at the Cougar Indoor in Pullman, Wash., Friday and Saturday (Jan. 22-23) at the WSU indoor track and field facility on the Washington State University campus.
The meet begins Friday afternoon with the women's pentathlon, men's heptathlon and the men's and women's weight throw. The men's heptathlon will conclude Saturday starting at 9 a.m. The field events begin Saturday at 10 a.m. with the women's long jump and running events start at noon with the men's 60-meter hurdles.
The Eagles competed on Jan. 15-16 at the WSU Open, where six athletes met the automatic qualifying standards to the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships. Eastern has met the league qualifying standards 27 times -- 13 for the men and 14 for the women.
