Five Eagles qualify for the Big Sky Conference Championships at the Dusty Lane Open

The Eastern Washington University track and field teams will compete Friday and Saturday (March 26-27) at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, Calif.

On Friday, running events will begin at 11:45 a.m. with the women’s 100-meter hurdles and field events begin at 9 a.m. with the men’s javelin. On Saturday, running and field events begin at 9 a.m. with the women’s 4x100-meter relay and women’s hammer throw.

At the Dusty Lane Open on March 20, five Eagles qualified for the Big Sky Conference Championships in Ogden, Utah, on May 12-15. Chad Butorac (400m), Sarah Frey (400m-hurdles), David Howard (discus) and Emily Jacobsen (hammer) all qualified for the conference championship and won their respective event. Brandon Lattin (javelin) was the fifth Eagle who qualified for the BSC Championships.
