2009-10 - Indoor: Utilized redshirt season. Outdoor: Curnutt was Eastern’s top 800 runner, recording a season-best time of 1:51.67 at the Oregon Relays. He qualified for the conference championships, placing 15th. He also ran the 400 meters (50.77) and the 1500 meters (4:00.81).

2009 Cross Country - finished 48th of 65 at the 2009 Big Sky Cross Country Conference Championships in Greely, Colo., where he had a time of 28:22.6 to help the Eagle men clinch a fifth-place finish. Curnutt competed in the NCAA West Regional Championships in Eugene, Ore., where he finished 179th (36:15.73).
