High School: Barnitz qualified for the OSAA State 5A meet in three events her senior year. She placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.08. Her fastest time in the event was 15.61. She placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 16-10 1/4. She also ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay that placed fourth.
