2009-10 - Indoors Anderson had season-best throws in the shot put (50-10) and the weight throw (44-0) at the Idaho Vandal Collegiate meet. Outdoors Anderson placed 10th in the shot put at the 2010 Big Sky Conference Championships, throwing a season best, 50-8. His farthest throw in the discus was 145-10 to place him sixth at the Montana Al Manuel Invitational. His best throw in the hammer was 115-0 at the Dusty Lane Open meet.

High School - Anderson won both the discus and shot put at the 2009 WIAA State 4A Championships and finished first in both the discus (168-3) and the shot put (56-9 1/2) at the 4A District Championships as a senior. As a junior, he finished third in the shot put with a mark of 49-7 and fourth in the discus with a mark of 157-2 at the State 4A Championships. He has career-best marks of 57-5 in the shot put and 168-10 in the discus.
