High School Cross Country - Olivas ran his best time on a 5,000-meter course his senior year, running the race in 16:21.48.

High School Track - Olivas placed 15th in the 1600 meters at the 4A Washington State Championships, finishing with a time of 4:23.52. His best time in the event came at the GSL/CBBN Regional meet when he ran it in a time of 4:17.92.
