2009-10 - Indoor: Friese tied for fourth place in the pole vault at the indoor conference championships, clearing the bar at 12 feet. Her season-best mark in the event came at the UW Last Chance Meet, where she jumped 12-5 1/2. Friese had a lifetime best in the 55-meter hurdles at the EWU Candy Cane Invitational with a time of 8.65. Outdoor: Friese placed fourth at the outdoor conference championships, jumping 12-2 3/4.

2008-09: Outdoors, Friese no heighted at the Big Sky Conference Championship and NCAA West Regionals. Her career-best pole vault came at the 38th Annual Pelluer Invitational with a mark of 12-7 1/2 to rank third in school history. Indoors, Friese finished second in the pole vault with a career-best vault of 12-11 1/2 at the BSC Championships to rank second in school history. She was named Big Sky All-Academic both indoors and outdoors.

2007-08: Outdoors, Friese finished fifth in the pole vault with an effort of 11-9 at the Big Sky Conference Championships. Her season-best vault of 12-1 1/2 came when she won the Sasquatch Field Events/Distance Carnival. She had career bests in the 200 meters of 27.72 and the 100-meter hurdles of 15.44. Indoors, Friese finished 11th in the pole vault with an effort of 10-11 3/4 and 12th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.21 at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships. Her career-best 60 hurdles came at the WSU Open II Indoor Meet where she finished fifth with a time of 9.16 and her career-best pole vault came at the McDonald’s Collegiate with an effort of 11-1 3/4 to rank fifth on Eastern’s all-time best list. She was Big Sky All-Academic indoors and outdoors.
