2009-10 - Indoor: Praast, who has been a consistent threat in the BSC, returns for his fifth season as an Eagle. He had a season best mark of 6-8 at the WSU Cougar Indoor Invitational, where he placed fourth. He placed 10th at the indoor conference championships in the high jump and seventh in the triple jump, which measured 45-4 1/2 – a season-best mark. Outdoor: Praast made the conference championships once again in the high and triple jump where he placed sixth and seventh, respectively. He jumped a season best of 6-7 in the high jump and a lifetime-best mark in the triple jump of 46-0 ½ at conference.
2008-09: Outdoors, Praast won the Big Sky Conference Championships in the high jump with a career-best mark of 6-8 3/4. He also finished seventh in the triple jump with a career-best effort of 45-1. Indoors, Praast finished third in the high jump with a mark of 6-6 1/4 and seventh in the triple jump with a career-best jump of 45-9. His career-best high jump came at the Husky Classic with a mark of 6-6 3/4. He was named Big Sky All-Academic both indoors and outdoors.
2007-08: Redshirted due to a pulled hamstring.
2006-07: Outdoors, he jumped 6-4 3/4 three times, including a ninth-place finish at the Big Sky Championships. His best indoor high jump of 6-5 1/2 came at the Big Sky Championships, placing him fifth in the league.
