2009-10 - Okoro qualified for the indoor conference championships in the high jump, the long jump, the 55 meters and the 200-meters, reaching season-best marks in two events. Her highest placing in the 200 meters was seventh when she ran a season-best time of 24.80 and making her way into the record books. Okoro also accomplished a season-best time in the preliminary heat of the 55 meters with a time of 7.24. Her best marks in the high jump (5-3) and the long jump (18-10) came earlier in the season. Outdoor: Okoro had a stellar outdoor season, reaching two lifetime-best and two season-best marks at the conference championships. She claimed the crown in the 200 meters, running 24.32 and entered into the record books once again, sitting at fourth on EWU’s all-time best list.
2008-09: Outdoors, Okoro finished sixth in the
high jump with a mark of 5-3 and 14th in the long jump with a jump
of 17-5 1/2 at the Big Sky Conference Championships. Her best high
jump came at the 38th Annual Pelluer Invitational with a jump of
5-3 1/4. Her best long jump came at the Al Manuel Invitational with
a mark of 18-1 1/2. Indoors, Okoro finished fourth in the high jump
with a mark of 5-4 1/4 and fifth in the long jump with a
career-best effort of 19-2 1/2 at the BSC Indoor Championships. Her
best high jump came at the Cougar Indoor with a mark of 5-4
1/2.
