2010-11 – Indoor: Was a member of the Distance medley team that placed first at the UW Invitational with a time of 10:06.28. He also finished 12th in the 800 with a time of 1:57.24 at the conference championships. Outdoor: Finished 11th in the 800 at the Oregon Relays with a time of 1:53.83.

High School: Pettit placed third at the State 4A meet his junior and senior year in the 800 meters, clocking times of 1:53.29 and 1:52.83, respectively. Pettit also ran the 400 meters (49.79) and the 1600 meters (4:37.08).
