2011-12: Indoor: Green ran the leadoff leg on the school record-breaking and Big Sky Indoor Champion 4x400 relay, which clocked a time of 3:11.04. He ran his season best in the 400 at the UW Husky Classic with a time of 49.82, placing 20th overall. He was wild-carded into the 200 at the BSC Indoor Championships, where he ran a personal-best time of 22.86, finishing 18th overall. Outdoor: Green’s season best in the 400 came at the WAR 5, where he ran a time of 49.48 to place third overall. He placed 11th overall in the 400 at the BSC Outdoor Championships with a time of 49.77. He ran a leg on both the 4x400m relay (fifth, 3:17.47) and the 4x100m relay (sixth, 41.81) at the BSC Outdoor Championships. He ran a personal-best time of 11.56 in the 100 at the Whitworth Twilight Meet, placing 10th overall. Green also ran his season best in the 200 at the Duane Hartman invite, clocking a time of 23.04.

2010-11: Indoor: As a true freshman, Green ran the third leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed fourth at the BSC Indoor Championships with a time of 3:18.33. He ran his season best of 50.54 in the 400 at the Bronco Open, placing 15th overall. He ran the 400 leg on the distance medley relay team that ran a time of 10:06.28 at the UW Invitational to rank second all-time at Eastern. He ran his personal-best 55 time of 6.85 at the Candy Cane Invite. Outdoor: Green reached the BSC Outdoor Championships in the 400 and ran a personal-best time of 48.92 in the prelims. That time put Green in the unfortunate ninth spot overall, missing the finals by .32 seconds. He was the second leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed third at the Championships with a time of 3:13.73, good for sixth all-time at Eastern. He ran his outdoor personal-best time of 23.03 in the 200 at the Oregon Relays. He was selected to the winter and spring Big Sky All-Academic teams.

High School:  Green placed third in the 400 at the WIAA 3A State Championships his senior year, running his high school-best time of 49.84. He also ran the anchor leg on the 4x400 relay for White River High School, which won the state title with a time of 3:21.40, edging out the runner-up by .07 seconds. His junior year, he placed ninth in the 400 at the 3A Championships while the 4x400 relay placed fourth. His other best times were in the 100 (11.63) and 200 (23.15).
