2012 Cross Country: After sitting out most of the season recovering from a knee injury, Curnutt placed 77th at the Big Sky Championships with a time of 31:23.5, finishing fifth for the Eagles. He was named to the fall Big Sky All-Academic team.

2011-12: Indoor: Curnutt ran his indoor personal best in the 800 at the Husky Classic, recording a time of 1:52.69 to place 21st overall. He also competed in the mile at the Idaho Vandal Indoor, where he ran a time of 4:22.90 to place 10th. He reached the BSC Indoor Championships in the 800, placing 10th in the prelims and missing finals by .76 seconds. Outdoor: Curnutt hit his best 800 time of the 2012 outdoor season at the Al Manuel Invite, running 1:53.07 and finishing third. He placed 10th in the 800 prelims at the BSC Outdoor Championships, missing finals by .18 seconds. He ran his season best in the 1,500 at the Whitworth Twilight Meet, placing sixth with a time of 4:03.45. He was selected to both the winter and spring Big Sky All-Academic teams.

2011 Cross Country: He placed 50th at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships in Pocatello, Idaho, where he ran a time of 28:14.89 to finish fourth on the team after being a late addition to the roster.

2010-11: Hampered with injuries, Curnutt was only able to compete in one meet the entire year, that being the Sam Adams Classic, where he ran a time of 4:28.45 in the 1,500, placing eighth overall.

2010 Cross Country: Redshirted.

2009-10: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Curnutt was Eastern’s top 800 runner, recording a personal-best time of 1:51.67 at the Oregon Relays. He qualified for the BSC Outdoor Championships, placing 15th with a time of 1:56.15. He ran the second leg on the 4x400 relay, which placed second in the Big Sky with a time of 3:13.41, good for fifth all-time at Eastern. He ran a personal-best time of 4:00.81 in the 1,500 at the WAR 3, placing eighth overall. He also ran the 400 at the Dusty Lane Open, clocking a time of 50.77 and finishing sixth overall. Curnutt was named to the fall and spring Big Sky All-Academic teams.

2009 Cross Country: Finished 48th at the 2009 Big Sky Cross Country Conference Championships in Greely, Colo., where he had a time of 28:22.6 to help the Eagle men clinch a fifth-place finish. Curnutt competed in the NCAA West Regional Championships in Eugene, Ore., where he finished 179th (36:15.73).

High School: Curnutt was a four-year letter winner for the Mead Panthers in both track and cross country. He was 11th at the 4A State Championships in cross country in 2008. He also had finishes of fifth (2008) and second (2009) in the 800 at the 4A State Championships in track. Curnutt was a member of three different 4A State Championship teams including twice in cross country (2007-08) and once in track (2009). His personal-bests in high school came in the 800 (1:52.4), 1,600 (4:24) and 5,000 (15:52).
