2011-12: Outdoor: Taylor placed 10th at the BSC Outdoor Championships in the javelin with a toss of 130-4 3/4. Her season best came at the Pelluer Invite where she threw a personal-best 137-8 to place third.

2010-11: Outdoor: Walker placed sixth in the javelin at the BSC Outdoor Championships with a season-best throw of 133-11 1/2.

2009-10: Indoor: Competed in the shot put and weight throw with her best marks being 37-10 1/2 and 37-8 1/2. Outdoor: Walker’s season best in the javelin was 125-1 3/4 at the Dusty Lane Open.

High School: Taylor was fourth in the javelin at the WIAA 2A State Championships with a personal-best throw of 127-1. She also placed sixth in the shot put with a personal-best toss of 38-11 3/4. She was second in the javelin at state her junior year. Taylor competed for Pullman High School the year they won state. She also played on the basketball team, which went on to win the Great Northern League Championship.

Personal: Communications major. Born 1/4/90 in Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents are Mike and Kristen Walker. Her brother Marcus played football for Eastern from 2004-08. Her dad, Mike, played in the CFL for 10 years and now is a defensive line coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
