2012-13: Indoor: Michael placed second in the 400 at the Big Sky Indoor Championships, running a time of 47.84 in the finals. He took fifth in the 200 at the conference meet with a time of 21.84. Michael also ran the anchor leg on the 4x400 relay, which ran 3:16.84 to place fifth at conference. His indoor season best of 21.76 in the 200 came in the prelims at the BSC Championships. He also had times of 48.51 (BSC prelims) and 48.53 (Vandal indoor) in the 400 during the season. Outdoor: Michael placed third in a down-to-the-wire finish of the 400 at the BSC Outdoor Championships in a time of 47.72, just being edged out by the second-place finisher (47.71) and teammate Brad Wall (47.67). He ran the third leg on the 4x400 relay that placed second at the conference meet, which ran a time of 3:11.33 to rank second in school history. Michael ran a time of 21.59 in the 200 at the Duane Hartman Invite to qualify for the BSC Championships and rank ninth all-time at Eastern. He also ran his personal best of 10.96 in the 100 at the Duane Hartman. His season best of 47.69 in the 400 came in a first-place finish at the UNLV Randall Cunningham Invite. Michael ran on the 4x100 relay, which ran a time of 41.45 on two different occasions during the season to rank ninth all-time. He also was a member of the 4x400 relay team that took first at the All-Idaho Cup in a time of 3:12.44, good for fifth in school history. He was named to the spring Big Sky All-Academic team

2011-12: Indoor: Michael exploded onto the Big Sky scene as a freshman, breaking the school record in the 400 at the BSC Indoor Championships and placing second with a time of 46.97. He also placed third in the 200, clocking a time of 21.63 to rank third all-time at Eastern. He capped off the Indoor Championships with a Big Sky title and another school record of 3:11.04 in the 4x400 relay in which he ran the third leg. Outdoor: Michael ran 47.28 in the 400 at the BSC Outdoor Championships to place third and rank fourth all-time at Eastern. That time also advanced him to the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round, where he ran a time of 48.10, placing 42nd overall. At the BSC Outdoor Championships, Michael ran a leg on both the 4x400m relay (fifth, 3:17.47) and the 4x100m relay (sixth, 41.81). He also ran his outdoor season-bests of 11.20 in the 100 and 22.19 in the 200 at the Duane Hartman Invite.

High School: Michael was a work-horse for the Skyview Storm, running in four events at the 4A WIAA State Championships. He placed second in the 400 (48.46), fifth in the 200 (22.04) first in the 4x400 relay (3:16.61) and third in the 4x100 relay (42.31). Michael had personal bests in the 100 (11.00), 200 (22.04) and 400 (48.45). He reached state in the 400 his junior and sophomore seasons, placing 11th in the 400 both years. He also reached state in the 4x400 during both of those years, placing fifth his junior year and eighth his sophomore year.

Personal: Undecided major. Born 6/18/93 in Twin Falls, Idaho. His parents are Dwain and Amy Michael. He has three relatives who graduated from Eastern, including Nick Eggleston, Ashley Bloom and Jeff Boyd.
