2012-13 Track and Field: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: At the Duane Hartman Invitational, Core ran personal bests in both the 1,500 (5:07.35) and 5,000 (19:18.56). She also competed in the 10,000, recording a time of 40:51.15 at the WAR VI.

2012 Cross Country: Redshirted.

2011-12: Indoor: Core ran her season-best time of 11:47.59 in the 3,000 at the UW Indoor Preview to place 59th overall. Her next best time was 12:11.50 at the Idaho Open. She was selected to the winter Big Sky All-Academic team.

2011 Cross Country: She ran 16:58.8 in the 4,000 at the Clash of the Inland NW, placing 51st overall. Core finished 65th at the Montana Invitational with a time of 21:48.

High School: Core was a four-year letter winner in cross country and two-year letter winner in track for Kaiserslautern High School in Germany. Received All-Europe honors during her sophomore and senior years in cross country. She placed second in the 1,500 and fourth in the 3,000 at the DODDS-EU during her senior year of track.
