For the second year in a row, the Eastern Washington University mens cross country team was honored by the NCAA for a perfect multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 1,000. EWU cross country was one of just five teams in the Big Sky Conference to earn the coveted public recognition award, and just one of three BSC teams with a perfect score.
A total of 52 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for fall quarter 2009. Of the total, 20 were from football, 11 from volleyball, seven from women's soccer, seven from women's cross country and five from men's cross country.
Sophomore Kyle King finished 120th individually as the Eastern Washington University mens cross country team competed Saturday (Nov. 14) at the NCAA West Regionals at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ore.
