Eastern Games to Air on 700 ESPN The Ticket
Eastern Washington University and KXLY Radio Group have reached a radio agreement to have all home and away EWU football and mens basketball games broadcast live on 700 ESPN The Ticket. The official announcement will be made today at 3:25 on the Patchin, Osso and the Wingman radio show.

44 Selected to Winter All-Academic Team
A total of 44 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for winter quarter 2010. Of the total, 16 were from the women's track and field team, 16 came from the men's squad, seven were from women's basketball and five men's basketball players were honored.

Glen Dean is selected as the Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year
Glen Dean is the epitome of the Eastern Washington University catchphrase, Start Something Big. The first-year Eagle mens basketball player was honored Wednesday (March 3) as the Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year as selected by the leagues nine head coaches. He is the fourth Eagle to earn that honor, joining Rodney Stuckey (2006), Matt Nelson (2004) and Marc Axton (2002) as the previous winners.

Eagles Snap Montanas Five-Game Winning Streak With 69-68 Victory
The Eagles are back in the hunt. The Eastern Washington University mens basketball team made 12-of-19 three-point shots as it won its second-straight game with a 69-68 victory over red-hot Montana Sunday (Feb. 14) at Reese Court in Cheney, Wash. The victory snapped a five-game winning streak for the Grizzlies and was the first time since Nov. 21 that the Eagles have won back-to-back games.
