Earlywine on McRae: “Rashano brings us more strength and athletic ability on the front line. He has to play to those strengths. He has the tendency to want to play cute, but we need him to be a force from 15 feet in -- rebounding, defending and scoring the ball in there. He is more than capable of doing that. Much like the rest of our new players, how fast he can adjust to Division I will be a factor.”

He scored in double figures 18 times and had 10 or more rebounds on nine occasions with eight double-doubles. He scored a season-high 18 points on two occasions and had 15 rebounds twice. McRae helped the Scotties finish the season 14-17. He also played at Seminole Community College as a freshman in 2007-08, averaging 2.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
