Space Still Available in EWU Men’s Basketball Camps

Individual camps for ages 5-14 take place June 27-30 and July 5-8

Space is still available for youth ages 5-14 in the Eastern Washington University men’s basketball individual camps taking place soon in Cheney, Wash.

The first session is June 27-30, with a full-day camp (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) available for boys and girls ages 7-14. A 1/2-day camp (12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.) is also available for campers ages 5-14. The second session is July 5-8, and is open for full-day or 1/2-day campers ages 7-14.

Cost is $125 per session for full-day campers, and $75 for those participating in the half-day camps.

The camps will be conducted by members of Eastern’s coaching staff, under the direction of first-year head coach Jim Hayford.

The new staff has resurrected the Eastern men’s basketball camp program, which has been in a hiatus recently. Five sessions of Eastern’s high school team camp, which has not taken place the last three years, have a collective total of 83 teams representing schools from throughout the Pacific Northwest.
