HS: Graduated from Mt. Spokane HS in 2010. As a senior he earned first team 3A All-State honors as an offensive lineman from Associated Press as selected by sportswriters and broadcasters. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He earned first team All-Greater Spokane League honors as an offensive lineman and second team accolades as a defensive lineman. He helped lead Mt. Spokane to a 10-2 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the State 3A Playoffs.
