2010: Listed as a reserve at weak-side outside linebacker on EWU’s preseason depth chart. Did not take part in spring practices because of a knee injury.

2009: Redshirted. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the week once.

HS: Graduated from East Valley HS in 2009. Helped the Knights to a 6-4 record and the State 3A Playoffs as a senior. His Eagle teammate Tyler Jolley (’06) also attended East Valley, whose head coach is Adam Fisher, who graduated from Eastern after a back injury kept him from punting for the Eagles. Adam Fisher’s father, Ed, was an assistant coach at East Valley and is a member of the Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame after playing at Eastern in the mid-60’s.

Personal: Born 9/5/90 in Spokane, Wash. Will turn 20 three days after Eastern plays Nevada. Mechanical engineering technology major.
