2011: Listed as a reserve at tight end on preseason depth chart.

2010: Played as a reserve tight end for the Eagles, seeing action in four games. Was selected as the team’s offensive scout team player of the week once.

Idaho: Redshirted at Idaho in 2008 and played in seven games as reserve tight end in 2009, but did not have any catches.

HS: Graduated from Central Valley HS in 2008. As a senior he earned first-team 4A All-State honors as a defensive lineman from Associated Press. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game, helping the East to a 17-14 victory in the game which took place on his high school home field at Central Valley. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He earned first-team All-Greater Spokane League honors as both a tight end and defensive lineman as a senior. Was also team captain his senior season. He also played basketball and competed in track. His Eagle teammates J.C. Agen (’09) and Jake Miller (’10) also attended Central Valley. They were coached at Central Valley by Rick Giampietri, a 1970 graduate of Eastern and letterman for the football team in 1968 and 1969.
