2014: Listed as the backup at nose guard on the preseason depth chart.

2013: Lettered as a backup nose tackle and finished with three tackles.

2012: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the week once. Boothroyd and teammate Dylan Zylstra were recognized by EWU and the Big Sky Conference for their role in rescuing a kayaker, who had fallen into Long Lake, northwest of Spokane, Wash., on May 31, 2012. The two were fishing when they saw the man struggling, and yelling for help. They were able to borrow a row boat and Zylstra pulled the man from the frigid waters.

2011: Was a non-lettering squad member.

2010: Redshirted. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the week once.

HS: Graduated from Mt. Spokane HS in 2010. As a senior he earned first team 3A All-State honors as an offensive lineman from Associated Press. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He earned first team All-Greater Spokane League honors as an offensive lineman and second team accolades as a defensive lineman. He helped lead Mt. Spokane to a 10-2 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the State 3A Playoffs. His Eastern teammate Stu Stiles (’14) also attended Mt. Spokane.

Personal: Management major with a 3.76 grade point average at Eastern. Born 8/12/92 in Renton, Wash. Son of Lance and Angelique Perry.
