Red Sprinturf Set to Arrive Aug. 3

The actual red Sprinturf product is scheduled to be shipped and will arrive in Cheney, Wash., as early as Aug. 2 as the prep work for Eastern Washington University’s Red Turf Project is nearing completion.

More Preseason Honors for Eagle Trio

The list of preseason accolades keeps on getting longer for a trio of Eastern Washington University football players as the 2010 season approaches. Senior linebacker J.C. Sherritt, junior running back Taiwan Jones and junior defensive lineman Renard Williams were all named to The Sports Network Preseason NCAA Football Championship Subdivision All-America team.

Buck Buchanan Watch List Includes Eastern J.C. Sherritt

A year after finishing second in the voting, Eastern Washington University senior linebacker J.C. Sherritt has been selected to the 20-player watch list for the 2010 Buck Buchanan Award awarded by The Sports Network to the top defensive player in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision.

Eagles Picked to Finish Second Behind Grizzlies

Heading on a collision course for a Sept. 18 showdown between Eastern Washington University and Montana, the Eagles have been picked to finish second behind the 12-time defending league champion Grizzlies in the Big Sky Conference preseason football polls released Tuesday (July 20).
