52 Selected to Fall All-Academic Team

A total of 52 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for fall quarter 2009. Of the total, 20 were from football, 11 from volleyball, seven from women's soccer, seven from women's cross country and five from men's cross country.

Eagles Sign 14 to Letters of Intent

This year, size and speed took on new meanings for the Eastern Washington University football program as it signed 14 high school athletes to letters of intent to attend EWU and play for the Eagles next fall.

Michael Roos Helping To Make Red Artificial Turf a Reality at EWU

Former Eastern Washington University football standout Michael Roos of the Tennessee Titans has pledged $500,000 toward the university’s “Red Turf” project at EWU’s Woodward Field in Cheney, Wash., Eastern President Rodolfo Arévalo announced today.

Eagle Coaches Luncheon Postponed; Additional Luncheon Added

The Eastern Washington University athletic department and the Eagle Athletic Association have added a special NCAA Letter of Intent signing day luncheon for football, and have also postponed the luncheon previously scheduled for Feb. 2. Luncheons take place at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino.
