2006: Listed as a starter at middle linebacker on preseason depth chart. He serves on Eastern's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 2005: Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference honors for his play on special teams. Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Did not start, but saw action as a backup linebacker besides serving on most of EWU's special teams. He had a career-high three tackles in wins over Northern Arizona (10/8/05) and Sacramento State (10/29/05). He was the team's special teams player of the week against Montana State (11/12/05). 2004: Redshirted. Was selected as the team's Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week once. HS: Graduated from Vancouver College Prep HS in 2004. Signed as a linebacker, he was selected to the All-Western Conference and All-Provincial all-star teams as a quarterback his senior season and was also the Western Conference MVP. In 2003, he passed for 1,687 yards and rushed for 781 as he also earned team MVP honors. He also played basketball and competed in track and field. In 2003, he scored 6,175 points in the decathlon to win the British Columbia Provincial championship in that event. He also won the 110-meter high hurdles (14.4) and triple jump (45-5 1/4). His EWU teammate Rob Nazarinia ('06) also attended Vancouver College HS, and both were coached in football by former EWU quarterback Todd Bernett (1991-94).
