2007: Listed as a backup at rover on preseason depth chart. 2006: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member. He finished the season with seven tackles, including six in EWU's second game of the season against West Virginia (9/9/06). 2005: Redshirted. He was the team's defensive scout team player of the week once. HS: Graduated from Sumner HS in 2005. Named by the Seattle Times as a "Red Chip" selection as one of the top 34 recruits in the state of Washington. Earned second team All-South Puget Sound League North Division honors as a running back and linebacker. He injured his right knee in the third game of his senior season, then tried to play the following week before being lost for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He gave an oral commitment to EWU two days after his injury. He rushed for 360 yards before his injury, but as a junior he had 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns to earn first team All-SPSL North Division honors as a running back. He was also second team all-league as a linebacker with a total of 78 tackles and 13 sacks to lead the SPSL. His EWU teammates Rocky Hanni ('03) and Chris Thomas ('05) also attended Sumner.
