2009: Listed as a starter at strong-side inside linebacker on EWU's preseason depth chart.

2008: Earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference honors. Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Started eight games at weak-side inside linebacker, but missed the final two games with a knee injury. He also missed the Western Washington game (9/20/08) with a sprained ankle that he suffered on his 48-yard interception return for a touchdown versus Colorado (9/6/08). Against Montana (10/11/08) he was chosen as the team's special teams player of the week and subsequently was one of three team co-captains the following week. Sherritt had a career-high 15 tackles versus Montana (10/11/08) and two games earlier had 12 versus Idaho State (9/27/08). He helped Eastern finish an impressive 11th in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivison in rushing defense (93.5), as well as fifth in sacks (3.09 per game) and ninth nationally in tackles for loss (7.9 per game).

2007: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Did not start, but saw significant action as a linebacker and on special teams. He had an interception against Montana State (10/13/07) and a season-high seven tackles in his next game versus Brigham Young (11/20/07) when he had the team's big hit of the week.

2006: Redshirted.

HS: Graduated from Pullman HS in 2006. Was the Seattle Times 2A State Player of the Year after leading Pullman to a perfect 14-0 record and the State 2A championship. Earned first team 2A All-State honors as a linebacker from Associated Press as selected by sportswriters and broadcasters. In addition, WashingtonPreps.com selected him to its 2A All-State first team as a linebacker. Named by the Seattle Times as a "Red Chip" selection as one of the top 29 recruits in the state of Washington. He was the Great Northern League Defensive Most Valuable Player, earning first team all-league honors as a linebacker and second team accolades as a running back. He rushed for 1,158 yards on 131 carries (8.8 yards per carry) with 19 touchdowns. As a junior, Sherritt earned honorable mention All-State honors from WashingtonPreps.com. He was a first team All-GNL running back and second team linebacker. His EWU teammate Ashton Gant ('06) also attended Pullman HS.
