HS: Graduated from Bethel HS in 2008. Was a second team All-Area selection by the Tacoma News Tribune as a wide receiver. Named by the Seattle Times as a "White Chip" selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. He was a first team All-South Puget Sound League 4A South Division selection on special teams and was a second team selection as a wide receiver. He caught 26 passes for 284 yards as a senior, and also rushed for 305 yards and a pair of scores. He had a 30.8 average on 12 kickoff returns.

Personal: Born 11/1/89 in Fort Lewis, Wash. Will turn 20 the day after Eastern plays Portland State. Major undeclared, but considering pre-medicine. Name is pronounced "ee-kie-kuh."
