2009: Listed as a starter at left cornerback on EWU's preseason depth chart.

2008: Started Eastern's first five games of the season at field cornerback. But he suffered a foot injury against Portland State (10/4/08) and missed the final six games of the year. He equaled his career high with six tackles versus Western Washington (9/20/08).

2007: Started Eastern's first eight games of the season at cornerback, including the first start of career against Montana-Western (8/31/07). He had the team's big play of the week against UC Davis (9/15/07) with an interception he returned 15 yards. He also had two interceptions for 37 yards of returns against Idaho State (9/22/07). He had a career-high six tackles versus Sacramento State (10/27/07).

2006: Lettered as a reserve cornerback and special teams player. Five of his six tackles came against West Virginia (9/9/06).

2005: Redshirted.

HS: Graduated from Evergreen HS in 2005. He was selected by WashingtonPreps.com as a first team 4A All-State selection as a return specialist. Earned first team All-Greater St. Helens League honors as a wide receiver and punt returner. Evergreen finished 14-0 en route to winning the State 4A Championship with a 28-14 victory over Skyline in the title game. As a junior, Evergreen advanced to the semifinals. As a senior he was the football team's Special Teams Player of the Year, and in basketball as a junior was Evergreen's Defensive Player of the Year. His former EWU teammate Greg Peach ('05) also attended Evergreen, as well as current Eagle Ashton Miller ('09).

Personal: Born 4/18/87 in Portland, Ore. His cousin Marcus Williams played in 14 games for the Oakland Raiders in the 2002 season as a reserve tight end. Name is pronounced "hose-lee." Interdisciplinary studies major.
