2009: Listed as a backup at nose tackle on EWU's preseason depth chart. In the spring, he was selected as Eastern's Co-Most Improved Defensive Player.

2008: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Did not start, but played in eight games. He had a season-high three tackles versus Colorado (9/6/08). He helped Eastern finish an impressive 11th in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivison in rushing defense (93.5), as well as fifth in sacks (3.09 per game) and ninth nationally in tackles for loss (7.9 per game).

2007: Started three games at right defensive tackle in consecutive games against Idaho State (9/2/07), Portland State (9/29/07) and Montana (10/6/07). He had a career-high four tackles and a sack versus ISU.

2006: Named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Started twice at nose guard, making the first start of his career in Eastern's 19-10 win at Montana State (9/23/06). He had three tackles and a sack in EWU's 34-0 victory against Northern Colorado (10/14/06).

2005: Redshirted. He was the team's defensive scout team player of the week once.

HS: Graduated from Rogers HS in Puyallup in 2005. Was a three-year letter winner in football and two-year letter winner in basketball. His EWU teammate Grant Williams ('08) also attended Rogers HS.

Personal: Born 6/29/87 in Enumclaw, Wash. Interdisciplinary studies major.
