Football Reception and Preview Takes Place in Wenatchee

First-year Eastern Washington University head football coach Beau Baldwin will be the featured guest on July 24 at the Martin-Scott Winery in East Wenatchee, Wash., for a reception and preview of the 2008 EWU football season.

The "Hawaiian Days Reception and Preview" is sponsored by the Eagle Athletic Association and Martin-Scott Winery, the family business of former Eastern football player Chris Scott (1994-97) and Timm Scott (1991-94). The event begins at 5 p.m. at the winery located at 3400 10th Street in East Wenatchee.

There is no cost to attend the event, but those interested in attending must RSVP by calling 509-359-6208 or via e-mail at eaa@ewu.edu.

After the event, attendees are encouraged to attend the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League game between the Wenatchee Applesox and the Spokane RiverHawks. Five tickets to the game will be given away at the reception and preview.
