Eagles Fall Short Against Lumberjacks 4-3

The Eastern Washington University men's tennis dropped a close Big Sky match-up against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 4-3 Saturday (April 10) at the Thorpe Fieldhouse in Cheney, Wash.

The Eagles were up 3-2 before the Lumberjacks rallied with two singles victories to take the match. Nico Riego de Dios and Fernando Mussolini both picked up singles victories for Eastern.

Eastern picked up the doubles point as Riego de Dios and Chad Henninger were victorious on the No. 1, along with Kevin Anderson and Kyle Koetje on court No. 3.

The Eagles will take on Seattle University tomorrow at 1 p.m. in their final non-conference match of the season.
