Eagles Win 5-2 Over Redhawks
The Eastern Washington University men's tennis picked up a win in its last non-conference match of the season against Seattle University 5-2 Sunday (April 11) at the Thorpe Fieldhouse in Cheney, Wash.
Senior Nico Riego de Dios picked up wins in at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in his last home match as an Eagle. The Eagles swept all three doubles matches and won four singles matches for a 5-2 victory.
Eastern is now 7-12 overall on the season and remains 3-3 in the Big Sky Conference. The Eagles will play their final two matches of the regular-season April 16 at Montana and April 17 at Montana State.
