Eagles Complete Perfect Weekend in Bozeman

The Eastern Washington University men's tennis team wrapped up a 3-0 weekend in Bozeman, Mont., with a perfect 6-0 victory over Montana State-Billings (0-3) on Sunday (Feb. 24). The win was Eastern's sixth in a row.

Art Karas and Jonathan Davis tied for the most convincing win on the day, as Karas was victorious by 6-0, 6-1 scores in the fourth position, while Davis claimed his match 6-1, 6-0 on court six.

Also earning wins in straight sets today were Kyle Schraeder (1), Nico Riego de Dios (3)and Daniel Pez (5), while Pannhara Mam rallied from a first set loss to win sets two and three in dominating fashion in a 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 victory.

Doubles matches were not contested.

The Eagles (6-2, 1-0 BSC) will now look forward to a Big Sky Conference match on Saturday morning (March 1), as Eastern will play host to Idaho State (1-6, 1-1 BSC) at 9 that day.
