2008-09: Outdoors, Butorac redshirted the 2009 season. Indoors, he finished 10th in the 400 meters with a time of 48.91 at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships. He had a career-best time of 7.06 in the 60 meters at the Runner’s Soul Open where he finished third.

2007-08: Outdoors, Butorac finished fourth in the 400 meters with a time 47.66 and 13th in the 200 with a time of 22.42 at the Big Sky Conference Championships. His best time of 21.97 in the 200 came at the Beach Invitational where he finished 16th.

2006-07: Butorac won the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.19 at the BSC Outdoor Championships to rank him second on Eastern’s all-time best list. He went on to compete at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 48.19 in the prelims and a time of 48.47 in the final to finish seventh. Butorac had his season-best 100 (10.88) to finish second and won the 200 (21.82) at the Al Manuel Invitational. Butorac finished second in the 400 (48.65) at the BSC Indoor Championships. He had his best time in the 400 at the Vandal Indoor Invitational (48.83). He was named Big Sky All-Academic in outdoor track and field.

2005-06: Butorac placed third in the 400 (47.96) at the 2006 BSC Outdoor Championships. He also ran the 100 and 200 outdoors, placing first on three different occasions. Butorac never finished lower than seventh in any event he competed in outdoors. Indoors, he placed third in the 200 (21.91) and fourth in the 400 (48.16) at the BSC Indoor Championships. His 200 time ranks fourth all-time at Eastern, and his 400 time ranks fourth. His best finish of the season was first in the 55 (6.57) at the Jerry Martin Indoor Invitational.
