2008-09: Outdoors, Cogdill finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 15-7 at the Big Sky Conference Championships. His best pole vault came at the Stanford Invitational with a mark of 16-0 3/4 to rank him fourth in school history. Indoors, Cogdill finished third at the BSC Championships with a vault of 15-11. His career-best jump came at the Runner’s Soul Open with a mark of 16-8 to break the school record of 16-5 set by Todd Freitag in 1989.

Portland State: Cogdill finished fourth (15-6 1/2) in the pole vault at the 2007 Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships and seventh (15-1) at the outdoor championships. His best jump came at the UTEP Springtime Invitational with a mark of 15-9.
