2008-09: Outdoors, Hopkins finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 22-4 1/4 and ninth in the triple jump with an effort of 44-0 3/4 at the Big Sky Conference Championships. Indoors, Hopkins had a career-best jump of 23-9 in the long jump to finish third at the BSC Indoor Championships. He also finished fifth in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 47-5 3/4.

2007-08: Outdoors, Hopkins finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 47-1 1/2 and had a career-best mark of 22-11 1/4 in the long jump at the Big Sky Conference Championships. His career-best in the triple jump of 47-1 3/4 came at the Oregon Relays.

2006-07: Hopkins placed ninth in the long jump (22-2 1/4) and seventh in the triple jump (46-10 3/4) at the BSC Outdoor Championships. His best high jump was at the Vandal Outdoor Jamboree where he placed sixth with a jump of 6-2 3/4. He also had a best long jump at the 36th Annual Pelluer Invitational where he placed fourth with a jump of 22-4 1/4. He was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team outdoors. Hopkins placed 14th in the triple jump (44-2 1/2) at the BSC Indoor Championships. His best jump came at the MSU Dual Meet Invitational where he placed fourth with a mark of 45-5 1/4 in the triple jump and second in the high jump with a mark of 6-4.
