Sophomore Paul Limpf and junior Camille Moseley were the top finishers for Eastern Washington University's cross country teams as both the men and the women finished 21st at the NCAA West Region Championships Saturday (Nov. 11) in Fairview, Ore.
Limpf finished 53rd as he covered the men's 10,000-meter course in 31:49.91. Moseley had a time of 23:02.81 as she finished 65th in the women's 6,000-meter race.
Other men's finishers included Curtis Suver (70th; 32:17.18), Shaun Helm (142nd; 34:40.69), Andrew Marks (151st; 35:12.28) and Cody Chappell (153rd; 35:16.83). Other women's finishers were Mattie Bridgmon (69th; 23:08.52), Amber Nickelson (107th; 23:39.91), Nikki Buckholtz (145th; 24:22.22) and Ariel Taylor (183rd; 25:57.55).
There were 164 individuals representing 25 schools in the men's competition, and 30 teams and 199 individuals in the women's race.
