2011-12: Hughes had a solid sophomore season for EWU, averaging 15.6 minutes off the bench…She had five double-digit scoring efforts, and notched her first-career double-double with a career-high 14 points and 11 rebounds against Sacramento State (Jan. 12)...She was fifth-leading scorer for the Eagles, averaging 5.4 points per game, and tied for the best season shooting percentage on the team at 46.1…Hughes had at least one rebound in all 30 games in which she appeared, and scored at least two points in 26 of 30…She started the year off strong with back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts, recording 12 points against Corban (Nov. 11) and 10 against Hoftstra (Nov. 13) - a game in which she also tallied four rebounds and a career-high three assists…Hughes was one of the top performers for Eastern in its game against Pac-12 rival Oregon State (Nov. 22), as she notched 10 points and seven rebounds…She also had 10 points and three boards in an 84-58 rout of Northern Arizona (Feb. 2).

2010-11: Played in 26 games during her rookie season, including 14 of 16 Big Sky regular-season contests. She averaged 3.4 points per game and 2.0 rebounds. Had her best outing of the year against Gonzaga (Dec. 3) - a team that later advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight. Hughes tallied a career-high 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting, and had six rebounds and one steal against the Bulldogs. She helped Eastern to a 98-70 rout of Sacramento State (Jan. 22) with eight points, seven rebounds and one steal. Scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds in just nine minutes on the court against Weber State (Feb. 19). Earned her first-career start at Montana (Feb. 26), and contributed four points, four rebounds and one block in that game, which Eastern won 71-63, snapping a 24-year and 27-game losing streak against the Lady Griz at Dahlberg Arena.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Hanford High School in Richland, Wash., where she was a three-year varsity letterwinner. Averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a junior, helping the Falcons earn a 16-7 overall record and a bid to the 2009 State 3A Tournament. Garnered 3A All-State team honors in 2009 and was a All-Columbia Basin Big Nine First-Team selection. As a sophomore, Hughes helped her high school team to a third-place finish at the state championships. Also lettered in track and field, as she was a regional qualifier in the discus, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and as a member of the 4x100 and 4x200-meter relay.
