2012 Big Sky All-Academic

2011-12: After averaging 9.3 minutes per game as a freshman, Pakootas contributed an average of 13.6 as a sophomore, while almost tripling her point total from 62 in 2010-11 to 161 in 2011-12…She was the most efficient 3-point shooter on the team, but was also the best in the Big Sky with a 40.2 3-point field goal percentage…She knocked down 33 long-range shots during the year - the second-most for the Eagles and among the top 15 in the league…She scored in double figures on six different occasions, including career-high 14 points against Idaho (Dec. 21)…She hit a career-high four 3-point shots in that game, while also tying her season-high in rebounds with five…Pakootas was 4-of-6 from the field, with two 3-pointers in Eastern’s 78-62 win over Big Sky tournament participant Sacramento State (Jan. 12)…Earned Big Sky All-Academic accolades for the first time in her career.

2010-11: Appeared in 22 games during her freshman campaign, and earned four starting nods, three of which were in Big Sky Conference play…Averaged 9.3 minutes per game, while contributing an average of 2.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.5 assists…Tallied eight points, seven rebounds and two assists against Willamette (Dec. 30)…Poured in a season-high 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting to help Eastern to a 98-70 rout of Sacramento State (Jan. 22) …Played a season-high 30 minutes against Northern Colorado (Feb. 3), finishing with seven points and a season-high five assists.

High School: Attended Inchelium High School for her freshman year, where she helped the basketball team to a fourth-place finish at the state championships…Named to the All-Panorama League first team in both basketball and volleyball…Was also a state qualifier in softball…Spent her sophomore and junior years at University High School in Spokane, Wash., where she was a two-year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball…Named to the All-Greater Spokane League second-team in both sports…Attended Mead High School for her senior year…Helped the Panthers win the 4A regional championships in 2010, which was the school’s first regional title since 1992…Her team went on to finish second at the state championships that season…Also lettered in volleyball her senior year at Mead, helping the team capture the 4A state title.
