High School: A 2012 graduate of Lewiston High School, Phillips was named the 2012 Idaho Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year - the first-ever recipient from Lewiston High School...Phillips is a two-time First-Team All-State selection, and was the 2012 All-5A Inland Empire League Player of the Year…In 2011, she was tabbed as the league's Newcomer of the Year…Phillips led the Bengals to a 22-4 season in 2012, and their second-straight Idaho 5A State title…She was selected by Idahosports.com as the Player of the Game in all three contests at the 2012 state championships…Phillips averaged 15 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 2.2 assists throughout her senior year, while also setting state tournament records for free throws made in a game (18) and in the tournament (34)…She hit 34-of-36 total free throws in the playoffs for a remarkable 94 percent…Phillips transferred to Lewiston High School after two years at Lapwai High School, where she helped bring home yet another state title…The Warriors won the Idaho 1A Division I crown in 2009, and finished as the runner-up in 2010.
