2006-07: Baker was honored as a member of the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for winter quarter 2007. She was 17th in the Big Sky Conference in rebounds per game with 5.4. She hit on 88.5 percent of her free throw attempts (46-of-52), ending the season with 23 consecutive makes. She contributed a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) to Eastern's dominating 80-60 road win over UC Irvine, just her second game as an Eagle. Baker had four steals in the game with Washington. She performed well against No. 9 LSU, tallying 12 points and grabbing eight rebounds. She also shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in that contest. She was named to the UTSA Thanksgiving All-Classic Team, after she also had nine points and four rebounds in EWU's contest with the hosts, Texas-San Antonio. A 17-point output in a tight 103-102 overtime loss to Gonzaga would be her personal best on the season. Baker had six steals in the Jan. 26 game with Weber State. She had four assists and 10 points in a loss to Saint Mary's. Baker also had those exact totals against Montana on Feb. 3. 2005-06: Redshirted. Southern Utah: Baker played in 28 games as a freshman for the Thunderbirds, averaging 3.7 points per game. She was a 37 percent shooter and made 35 percent of her three-point shots. Baker grabbed 51 rebounds (1.8 rebounds per game) and had 18 assists and 11 steals. Personal: At Lewis & Clark High School, Baker was a three-year letterwinner in basketball and named 2004 regional MVP after guiding her team to a regional title. Baker earned first team All-State and All-Greater Spokane League honors after averaging 13.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a senior. She helped lead LC to a 24-4 record, including a win over Gonzaga Prep when she scored a season-high 23 points. As a junior, Baker helped lead LC to a fifth-place 4A state finish and was the team's leading scorer at 11 points per game. Baker also traveled with the nation's third-place AAU Spokane Stars in summer 2003. She is the daughter of Scott and Colleen Baker. She has a brother, Kyle, 26, and a twin sister, Christy, 21. Baker is majoring in business management and marketing.
